Launch Party is the third annual celebration and launch of the city's hottest new startups. 

It's not your typical networking or tech event. No formal presentations, no panels. It's all about giving you the opportunity to meet our city's brightest entrepreneurs, creators and developers, demo their products, and celebrate everything that our startup community has to offer. 

And we do it in a way that's creative and interesting - celebrating with drinks, demos, and DJs to set the mood.

Doors open to the public at 7:00 pm, appetizers and cash bar

About Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012

Powered globally by the Kauffman Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Week is made up of host organizations running national campaigns in 120 countries. During the week, thousands of events and competitions around the world inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors.

In Edmonton, Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 features a series of events presented by Junior Achievement, Startup Edmonton and Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) aimed at celebrating and promoting entrepreneurship to youth, startup and seasoned entrepreneurs in our community.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating and inspiring students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential hands on programs. Junior Achievement impacts millions of students in more than 176,000 classrooms across North America.

Startup Edmonton kickstarts local startups through education, workspaces and accelerator programs. Our role in the local startup ecosystem lies at the earliest stages, as ideas evolve into action, where startups form and gain initial traction. We create collisions between developers, designers, creators, makers and entrepreneurs to activate a new generation of startups.

Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is a global network of business owners. EO enables business owners to learn from each other, leading to greater business success and an enriched personal life. EO Edmonton's 124 members have collectively created thousands of jobs in the Edmonton region with annual sales of over $2 Billion.
